By creating an account or using Guardly, you agree to these Terms of Service. Guardly is a marketplace that connects customers seeking aquatic safety supervision with independent, certified lifeguards. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Guardly.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Lifeguards must hold valid, current certifications and provide accurate documentation during sign-up, including a government-issued ID and profile photo for identity verification. Customers are responsible for providing safe, lawful environments for booked services.

Lifeguards are independent contractors, not employees of Guardly. They are responsible for maintaining their certifications, arriving on time, acting professionally, and following recognized water-safety standards at all times during a booking.

Customers must provide accurate booking details including location, duration, and the number of swimmers. Customers may not ask a lifeguard to perform duties outside the scope of aquatic safety supervision.

Prices may vary with demand (surge pricing) and are shown before you confirm a booking. Payment is collected through the app. Guardly retains a service fee and pays the remainder to the lifeguard.

Bookings may be cancelled subject to our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Late cancellations may incur a fee to fairly compensate lifeguards for reserved time.

Guardly facilitates connections but does not directly supervise services. While we verify certifications and identity, customers and lifeguards use the platform at their own risk. Always follow local laws and posted safety rules.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or create safety risks for others on the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Guardly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you opt in to text messages, Guardly will send booking and account updates to the phone number you provide. Guardly does not send marketing or promotional text messages. Opting in is always optional and is never a condition of using Guardly or making a purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time — after replying STOP you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Full program details are published at joinguardly.com/sms.
