We collect the information you provide when you sign up — your name, email, phone number, and (for lifeguards) certifications, address, and date of birth. We also collect booking details and, with your permission, your location to match you with nearby lifeguards or customers.

We use your information to operate the marketplace: creating bookings, processing payments, verifying lifeguard certifications and identity, sending notifications, and providing customer support.

Location is only accessed when you grant permission. Customers' location helps find nearby lifeguards; lifeguards' location helps surface them to nearby customers. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings.

When a booking is confirmed, limited contact and location details are shared between the matched customer and lifeguard so the service can take place. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

Payment details are processed securely by our payment provider. Guardly does not store full card numbers on its servers.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep it private.

You can view and update your personal information in the app at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support.

Guardly is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes through the app.

If you opt in to text messages, we use your phone number to send booking and account updates only. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. We keep a record of when you opted in or out as proof of consent. Your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
